Tuesday 9th Psalm 13:1 & 6 At times when life is hard, we pray “How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart. But I trust in your unfailing love. I will sing to the Lord for he has been good to me.” Wednesday 10th We thank You Lord for the impact of the work done by Blythswood in showing Christian love and concern to poorer people in Eastern European countries. Thursday 11th Psalm 103:6 Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. Friday 12th Lord, it is easy to forget the people in troubled areas of the world. Today we remember coiuntries which have experienced, war, earthquakes and flooding. Saturday 13th Psalm 16:1 No matter what problems beset us, we can still pray “Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge.”
Sunday 14th Lord, we honour men and women who are on active service at this time, and remember the millions over the last century who have died or suffered injury, also Christians persecuted because of their faith in You. Help us not to forget their sacrifices.
Monday 15th Psalm 18:30
God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is my shield for all who look to him for protection.
Tuesday 16th Let us pray for all those living with cancer and for those caring for them. Thank God for our doctors, nurses and consultants in the National Health Service and for new treatments being made available.
